As a certified personal trainer, sports conditioning coach, and nutrition specialist, being active is a huge part of my life. What we feed our bodies, how we move our bodies, and who we share our bodies with can dictate how healthy we are.
As a writer, I love delving into the deeper subjects of life to figure out why we are the way we are. Why are we in the constant pursuit of more instead of enough? Why do we spend so much time hunched over our keyboards instead of breathing in fresh air? Why do we accept stress and obesity and exhaustion as part of our daily lives? Where is the balance?
Most importantly, I am an expectant first-time mother. My husband and I are plant eaters and athletes. I want to apply my everyday principles of whole foods based eating and carry it through this nine month journey and beyond.
